Right on Target.

Maybe it was the influence of all those Western TV shows, or all the WW2 movies I watched with my Dad, or maybe the exciting James Bond spy movies - but I have always had an interest in target shooting. I'm certainly not a hunter, and my firearms are always stored unloaded and safely locked away in a cabinet. Safety first! But I do enjoy target shooting at the range with my son, and we have a modest collection of interesting firearms. Here are some of them:

Beretta U22 Target Pistol

This is an new ultra-modern design short barrel competition pistol, chambered in .22 lr.

Henry Repeating Arms classical "old west" style lever action carbine, chambered in .22 lr.

Avast ye maties! Agrrrrr!

Precussion cap black powder pistol. Modern replica of a classic pirate pistol that I built from a kit. Almost takes your arm off when you fire it!

Ruger Old West style "Single Six" chambered for .22 lr or .22 magnum.

Reach for the sky

outlaw!

The world's smallest revolver - North American Arms mini revolver chambered in .22 lr.

Can't hit the side of a barn from 30 feet away, but very fun to shoot. Makes me feel like  Maverick - a Mississippi riverboat gambler!

Bernadelli M80 single action pistol chambered in .22lr.

Beautiful Italian copy of the Walther PP series. Nicely made.

A very rare, and pleasant gun to shoot - and super accurate. A "tack driver".

Walther TPH semi-automatic miniature pistol chambered in .22 lr.

A very well made small version of the famous Walther PPK. Surprisingly accurate for such a short barrel.

BOND.

JAMES BOND.

A pop culture ICON.

The world famous Walther PPK - legendary sidearm of

Ian Flemming's British Secret Agent 007.

This superb quality stainless steel beauty is the special "S" model with slightly longer grips and a larger magazine capacity.

Chambered in .380 ACP (9mm short European).

Deadly accurate.

Every time I fire it, I hear the James Bond theme song playing in my head.

And after that long afternoon of blasting holes in paper targets at the firing range, it's time to drive my Aston Martin DB5 home and relax with a Vodka Martini...

- shaken, not stirred of course.

Me too...

Yea Baby!
