My Rides...
I have always enjoyed spirited motoring.
Over the years, I have driven a number of high performance sportscars, including a vintage Triumph GT6+, a Porsche 911T, a couple of Porsche 930 Turbos, and a Jaguar XK8. (See a carousel of my former cars at the bottom of this page.)
These days, like "STIG" (Seven Times International Grand-prix champion driver Michael Shumacher from the popular UK "TopGear" TV show), I am driving a turbocharged Abarth 595.
(See video below) (serious note - Michael is unfortunately hospitalized following a serious skiing accident last winter, but is reportedly recovering - all my best wishes).
I have upgraded my Abarth 595 with additional performance and handling modifications, and it is now probably the quickest vehicle I have ever owned.
Not quite as high top speed, but slightly quicker up to 100 mph than my 1978 and 1986 Porsches were. Unbelievable perfomance in a 2400 lb car, and great fun to drive. Here are some fun Abarth videos that will give you a sense of what the marque is all about.
I also drive a conservative four door "business" car - a Mercedes C230 SPORT with AMG performance options.
For two wheel adventures, I ride a Hyosung Aquilla GV250 cruiser motorcycle. And what a great little bike it has turned out to be. See the review below.

My 1978 Porsche 930 was purchased from a dealer in Houston, and had appeared in the 1983 movie "Local Hero" starring Burt Lancaster. It's a great movie and fun to see my old car...
I brought it up to 165 mph once...

My most beautiful car .... 1997 Jaguar XK8 - The ladies loved it like no other car
The most fun to drive ... 2013 Abarth 595 - hands down!
