All Aboard!

Check out my Model Railroad.

I've traveled on trains my whole life. I love trains. Some of my earliest

memories are that of travelling with my parents on a 1950's "Canadian

Pacific" streamliner. I often travelled to and from college on the CN

"the Canadian". (Check out my green and gold passenger train - it's the

same CN I took to college!) And like most boys in the 1950s, one of my most prized toys was my cherished Lionel train set.

Years later, I developed an interest in model railroading, and was especially enamored with the small nine millimeter or "N Gage" form factor. This small size allows you to pack a lot in a

very small floorspace.

Here are some photos of the small (six feet by four feet) layout that I

built using lightweight styrofoam. It's called "Logan Ridge". I used KATO

snap track, and built many small structures to represent a 1940's to 1960's

American small town with an industrial area. Kind of like where I grew up.

For added realism, I have several miniature neon lights, vintage cars, train signals, and of course people.

Check out what's playing at the ODEON THEATER.

I run a variety of trains on my layout from 1930's steamers and streamlines, up to 1960's examples.

Enjoy.
