My Signed Autograph Hobby

I'm a collector of all sorts of things. One of my interests is collecting autographed photos from famous 20th  Century celebrities. I have over 100 examples ranging from politicians like John F Kennedy, to space pioneers like Yuri Gagarin (the first man in space), Singers like Elvis and Sinatra, and movie

stars from pictures like Gone with the Wind to Star Trek. I only have one piece that was personally signed for me - Sting back in 2002. All others were purchased at auction.

 

You may notice that I also have a couple of RIAA platinum record awards in my collection. I purchased a DOORS    RIAA award and a LED ZEPPELIN RIAA award from a former Warner/Electra/Atlantic record company executive. These are THE original Platinum record awards for LA WOMAN and LED ZEPPELIN III - awarded to the record company itself. These awards are unique - historic, one of a kind and irreplaceable. These awards are genuine, and have been autheticated by the original company that manufactured them, "Ill-Eagle Enterprises" out of New  York.

 

I purchased most of these autographed pieces years ago, and sadly many of the personalities have since  passed away. Many have increased greatly in value. I like to think that I have a small piece of time from  their lives - just a unique few seconds of their life that have been captured for eternity.
