I spent the majority of the decade as a student, so I did not have the opportunity to purchase many of these vehicles back in the day. I did, however, in 1976 buy a 1969 Porsche 911T and drove that until the mid 1980's. I also purchased a cousin of the Lancia Beta Scorpion shown on this page - a 1978 Lancia Beta Coupe. That Lancia was a great little car  with a high performance engine, sports MacPherson strut suspension, Campagnollo alloy wheels, Pirelli radials, Weber carbs and a gorgeous tan leather interior.

In later years, I purcashased one of the vehicles shown on this page - a 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo coup. The fastest car I have ever owned...
