When you fly into Austin Inernational Airport, you will immediately see a huge sign that says...
"Welcome to Austin Texas,
the Live Music Capital of the World".
Well, other big music cities like Nashville, and New Orleans might challenge that attribution - but Austin does host most of the biggest names in the music industry.
I've seen some great performers here over the years, and actually had the opportunity to personally meet and host STING at a COMPAQ sponsored VIP concert event. Very nice guy. He generously signed his autograph for me.
